Nireasha Murray

Nireasha Murray is a proud native of Fort Bend County raised in Quail Glen of Missouri City, Texas as the daughter of 2 first-generation college graduates. Raised in a household full of educators, she developed a deep respect for teaching, learning, and the power of equal opportunity for all.

Attorney Murray, knowing since childhood it was her mission to advocate for justice and protect the community through equally enforcing the law, is a graduate of the High School for Law Enforcement and Criminal Justice, Class of 2004. She went on to earn her bachelor’s degree from the University of Houston before completing her Juris Doctor at the Thurgood Marshall School of Law. In her many years as a licensed attorney with the State Bar of Texas she has been practicing across a multitude of legal areas. Her extensive legal career with the State Bar of Texas spans various areas, including criminal, probate, education, juvenile, family, mental health law, and Guardian Ad Litem work.

Her professional journey also reflects her dedication to education. As an advocate with the Houston Federation of Teachers, she has championed the rights of educators and students alike. She holds two Texas Education Agency certifications in Special Education (Early Childhood–12) and Generalist (Early Childhood–4), underscoring her commitment to ensuring equal education for all children.

Beyond her distinguished legal career, Nireasha carries the powerful story of being a cancer survivor, a testament to her resilience in the most difficult and trying hours. Her journey reflects not only strength but also an unwavering commitment to perseverance and hope. Attorney Murray is also a proud member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc., where she embodies the values of sisterhood and service, and leans on her faith. She believes in ensuring justice for all and enforcing the law to every matter before her. Nireasha Murray would be the kind of Judge who listens to every single detail and abide by the law. Additinoally, I beliee in rehabilitation for non-violent offenders, equal access to healthy and nutritious meals regardless of socioeconomic status, and keeping communities beautiful and prosperous. Her advocacy extends to protecting the elderly, uplifting children, and supporting educators, and protecting our community from violent offenders. Enforcing the law and ensuring justice for all.

Nireahsa is also known as a food connoisseur and avid traveler, she also finds joy in volunteering and spending time with her family. Her life embodies resilience, service, and integrity. At the heart of her mission is a simple but powerful belief: the law must be enforced with equality and justice for all people.
